Data can be collected by observing, questioning and recording.

We can watch and tally the number of cars that drive past our classroom.

We can ask our friends what game they want to play at lunchtime.

We can measure how much our bean plants have grown each week in the school vegie garden.

We can also use technology to record and collect data.
